About the project

Livioo calculates a Livability Index for every address in Sofia. The index combines six objective dimensions — transit, green space, schools, healthcare, amenities, and air quality — into a single score from 0 to 100.

Our goal is simple: to give people a clear and objective picture of the environment around any location in the city, so they can make more informed decisions — whether for renting, buying, or simply out of curiosity.

About the author

Livioo is created by Plamen Dimov, a software developer with over 15 years of experience in web applications. My mission is to use my technical expertise and available data to shape Livioo into a product that helps people make better decisions about where they live.

Data sources

Livioo analyzes and aggregates data from multiple sources — OpenStreetMap for points of interest and infrastructure, Sensor.Community for air quality, official GTFS data for public transit, and public exam results (NVO and DZI) for education quality. OpenStreetMap, Sensor.Community. Data Sources.

Methodology

Each dimension has its own formula, calibrated against the real distribution in Sofia. We do not use subjective opinions or user ratings — only measurable, verifiable indicators. the methodology page.
